Fertility Preservation

At our clinic, we offer all guarantees to cryopreserve your gametes, whether you are a woman or a man. Your samples will be stored at the moment you decide, so you can later fulfill your desires to become a mother or father.

Female Fertility Preservation

If you have always known you want to be a mother, but the time has not yet come, at our clinic there is the option to cryopreserve your eggs now to use them whenever you want, without the effects of time passing.

Factors such as age, lifestyle habits, or the clinical situation of the woman can considerably reduce her reproductive capabilities.

Thanks to techniques such as vitrification, egg cryopreservation is possible to ensure good chances of achieving pregnancy at the right time.

The steps that stand out in this process are as follows:

1) Controlled ovarian stimulation: the goal is to achieve the maturation of a sufficient number of oocytes according to the ovarian response of each patient through the administration of medication.

2) Follicular puncture: consists of extracting the oocytes generated in each ovary through vaginal puncture guided by ultrasound. It is performed with sedation for better recovery.

3) Cryopreservation of oocytes: vitrification of the mature oocytes obtained.

Male Fertility Preservation

As with female fertility preservation, the goal is to store sperm in liquid nitrogen to delay fatherhood.

Unlike women, men produce sperm throughout their lives, and although there are studies showing that semen quality decreases after a certain age, men do not usually cryopreserve semen samples to delay fatherhood.

The most common reasons are undergoing oncological treatments or pathological situations such as varicoceles or surgeries that may compromise sperm function and the clinical situation of the patient.

The most important phases are:

1) Obtaining a semen sample: the man must obtain a semen sample at the clinic's facilities through masturbation.

2) Freezing the semen sample: The sample will be evaluated and frozen in the andrology laboratory in supports that allow the use of only an essential part necessary for assisted reproduction treatment regardless of the freezing time.

In cases where semen quality is compromised, the clinic will recommend successive freezing.
