For various reasons, more and more women want to see their desire for motherhood fulfilled, either in an independent project or in a family project as a couple.
Currently, Portuguese legislation, through Law no. 17/2016 of June 20, has expanded the conditions for admissibility to Assisted Reproduction techniques in Portugal. From then on, PMA techniques can be used by all women regardless of their infertility diagnosis. Therefore, couples of different sexes or couples of women who are married or living in conditions similar to those of their spouses, as well as all women regardless of their marital status and sexual orientation, can use ART techniques."
IERA Lisboa operates in accordance with the legislation in force, providing Assisted Reproduction treatments to all women, regardless of their infertility diagnosis, marital status or sexual orientation.
